PBRM officers meeting

The PBRM officers had a meeting today after the afternoon session of the Philippine Rheumatological Association convention held at the Westin Philippine Plaza.

Highlights:

1. CPA accountant of previous PBRM officers was asked again to continue her services for the PBRM.

2. Tentative schedule for the ITE, oral and written examinations are discussed. Please wait for further announcements.

3. Meeting with Chairperson and training officer of all training institutions will be informed of meeting with PBRM officers regarding discussion and finalizing on requirements for (re)accreditation of the institutions. (Please wait for further announcements and official letter)

4. Schedule of discussion of PBRM bylaws during the annual convention business meeting. (Wait for further annoucements)

5. Other matters and financial obligations.

NOTICE: Call for General Meeting for amendment of By Laws and Constitution of PBRM

The PBRM governors would like to inform all Diplomates that we will be calling for a General Assembly during the Annual Convention in February.
This is in order to forward, revise, and amend the PBRM constitution and by laws.
Dr. Victoria Morales - Secretary, will be mailing to all Diplomates the proposed revision. This is in order for everyone to review the suggested changes and give their comments and suggestions on the annual assembly.

The body is set to meet during the Business Meeting on February 22, 2006 during the 16th Annual Convention of the Philippine Academy of Rehabilitation Medicine at Tagaytay Highlands.

New PBRM Oral Board Passers

Congratulations to the Physiatrists who passed the Philippine Board of Rehabilitation Medicine Oral Exams! They will be given the title of Diplomate of Philippine Board of Rehabilitation Medicine (DPBRM) once they take their OATH for Diplomate in PBRM.
